admin user- edit access rules removes rights
Good day,
Kindly assist. Have a fresh installation of precurio V2.1. have created 3 roles but when ever i try Edit the Access Rules for any roles and click submit, I get the following error "You dont have enough permissions" and when I go back to the home page the admin users menu and access rights are reduced (deleting all rules in rules tables gives the admin user full rights again but still cannot edit access rules for any roles). Any assistance would be appreciated. kind regards |

RE: admin user- edit access rules removes rights
To prevent yourself from being locked out,do the following;
1) Make sure you are a member of the administrator group 2) The administrator group must be the first group you configure access rule. 3) The "Admin" rule must be the first rule you edit. The moment you edit the "Admin" rule, the current user will have access to only the home page and administrator page, till you edit the other rules. Hope you understand? |

RE: admin user- edit access rules removes rights
Thanks fo the speedy response- simply fantastic support you are providing.
I had created an administrator role because I wanted to add my user to it(the default admin user). Perhaps my fault was that I attempted to amend the administrator role I created before adding myself to that role- I believe this is what you are suggesting? Will give it a bash and let you know the results. Thanks again. Kind regards |

RE: admin user- edit access rules removes rights
Hi
Somehow I managed to locked myself out, I have no permissions to acces anything. How do I get around restoring this in the back-end? |
