Precurio Customization Support

I'm the Technical Support Officer(Web and Software) for Co-creation Hub Limited. We are currently trying to use precurio for our comuunity(members) intranet system. Now, i want to do some level of customization on the system. I want your input on how best to go about the customization.

1. I want to know if it's possible to enable public registration on the precurio installation found here. http://www.cchubnigeria.com/community/public/.

2. Also i want to extend the registration system if made public to look like this http://www.cchubnigeria.com/application-form

3. If it's not possible to enable public registration, can i collect users details with a separate form and get it inserted into the precurio database for my setup and how best should i do this.

Like you noted, there are 2 ways to go about it.

1) you could extend Precurio to include a registration form.

2) you could have a separate form and insert the data into the db

I suggest you go with (1) if you are familiar with Zend framework, It will be much easier. But if you are not familiar with zf, then (2) is the best option.
