can't find installation folder

Hello there, newbie here
i;m using fedora 10 ( linux)
i just find out about precurio and i heard it's amazing, and then i download the latest precurio 2.1.
i read the installation manual for installation, the manual state that :
“http://[YOURSERVERNAME]/precurio/public/install” , so i do http://localhost/precurio/public/install ----> not found

but when i see what inside the public folder there isn;t install folder, there are only 2 folder : library and upload and 2 files index.php and favicon.ico

tell me how can i install precurio?

Hi,

Welcome to Precurio forums.

Precurio, being build on top of the Zend Framework,makes use of url re-writing (commonly known as pretty URLs), so you may not be able to locate a resource exactly by it's URL.

For example, '/public/install/install' does NOT mean there is an 'install' folder inside the 'public' folder.(Note: the install folder is actually located in '/application/', and it does not even have an 'install' subfolder either).

To make the installation work, please ensure your system meets the minimum requirements specified in the installation manual.( more importantly, that your apache server has mod_rewrite enabled).
