Unable to create topic in forum

Hi,

I am not able to create a new topic in the forum, even though I was able to create the forum.
When I click create new topic, the popup window appear.

But after typing in the required information, when I click on create new topic in the popup window, there is no response.

I am using full admin rights.
I have also tested using another non-admin account.
All the permissions under roles in the forum portion has been selected.

Please help.

I have installed it on a windows 2003 server.

I have tried to remove the uninstall the wamp server, remove the wamp directory, remove all registry entry related to wamp.

And reinstalled everything, and still got the same problem.

On another system, running windows xp, I don't face this issue.

I am currently evaluating the software for my company intranet, but its seems that it is not very consistent.

Or is there somewhere that I did not configure properly? I have followed the installation instructions and have checked the apache and php settings.

Please help......

Sorry you never got a response. Have you been able to resolve this issue?

I have tested on windows 2003, and the forums work fine.

If you used the same version of wampserver on both xp and 2003, then am surprised you are getting different behaviours.

I have packaged my working version of forums as a patch, pls downlad the attached patch and install, following this steps

1. Login to your Precurio Installation (i.e your intranet)
2. Go to the Admin Module (i.e you already have administrative privileges)
3. Click on Upgrade
4. Select the patch zip file
5. Click the upgrade button.
6. You should get a message saying 'Upgrade Successful'

Let me know if this also works on yours.

Hello all! I'm new to the forum but just experienced this issue. I'm using IE9 on XP and found I needed to activate "Compatibility Mode" in my browser. That did the trick, however, the buttons are still not displaying correctly. It does let me create topics, though.

I am having the same issue, and I have update the patch file, still not working.

By the way, the upgrade button is not working too.
step 6 didn't pop up.
"6. You should get a message saying 'Upgrade Successful'"
I have managed to copy the update file to my web server folder, that should do the same thing as the patch script.

Hi, I have attached a pic. this is what came up when I click"create new topic".
there is no post icon at all.
when I clicked create topic on this windows, no respond comes up.
